This vibrant handcrafted terracotta mural features a majestic multi-hooded Nāga at the centre, its large, intricately textured body arranged in graceful coils to create a powerful and symmetrical composition. The serpent is surrounded by smaller cobra figures, floral motifs, stylised foliage, and symbolic sun faces, creating an atmosphere of protection, sacred energy, and spiritual reverence. The sculpture is framed within an elaborate temple-inspired architectural structure, featuring ornamental pillars, decorative finials, arched elements, floral patterns, and a richly patterned base. The layered relief work gives depth to the serpent’s scales, coils, ornaments, and surrounding motifs, highlighting the craftsmanship of the clay modelling. The vivid palette of black, red, yellow, green, blue, and orange brings a distinctive folk-art character to the piece while preserving the tactile quality of the terracotta relief. With its strong symmetry and devotional presence, the mural is well suited for cultural installations, temple and heritage spaces, statement walls, traditional interiors, and contemporary décor inspired by Indian folk craftsmanship.
